American Marketing Association Students Place in Tournaments
Students from the American Marketing Association competed in the Regional American Marketing Association competition . Junior Katie Kintop won first place for the elevator pitch competition . Seniors Jordun Paster and James Pesarchick took first place in the marketing strategy competition . Senior Delaney Smith and junior Mackenzie Murphy took second place for the team marketing strategy competition . Paster , who is the Kent State chapter president of AMA , also won first place for the sales competition .

Beta Gamma Sigma Earns High Honors Status
Beta Gamma Sigma ( BGS ) is a national business honors society with chapters located at universities with business programs that are accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business ( AACSB , International ). The BGS earned high honors status in 2020 .
