Ethics Competition
A team of Kent State College of Business Administration students was awarded first place in Cleveland State University ’ s ( CSU ) 2020 Intercollegiate Ethics Case Competition , presented by CSU ’ s Accounting Department and Delta Psi Chapter of Beta Alpha Psi .
This was Kent State ’ s first year participating in the competition , which was sponsored by the Northeast Ohio Chapter of the Institute of Internal Auditors and held at CSU . Team members included senior accounting major Savannah Lones , senior managerial marketing and finance major Dominic Reda , and graduate accounting student Malcolm Mueller . Scott Miller , a faculty member within the College ’ s Department of Accounting , served as the team ’ s coach and advisor .
“ I was ecstatic to see the team ’ s hard work pay off at the end of a long day of competition . The students were calm and composed on stage and truly excelled at defending their positions with the judges . They deserved every accolade they received . I was thrilled to see Kent State get this recognition within the academic and business communities ,” said Miller .
