PI SIGMA EPSILON
Pi Sigma Epsilon is a professional fraternity specializing in the advancement of sales , marketing and management professions . The fraternity provides students with practical business experience through sales , sales projects , marketing , marketing research and community service projects . Students also have the opportunity to attend regional and national conferences where they can compete and network with companies .
Pi Sigma Epsilon President Emily Duffy
Emily Duffy , the Kent PSE chapter president , was awarded the top scholarship for outstanding work as a chapter president , the Whan Challenger scholarship at the National PSE Conference . Emily is the first junior to receive this award which is typically awarded to a graduating senior . Emily also won the President ' s Award for Interchapter Development .
During Emily ’ s time as President , the chapter has achieved several milestones . For the first time , the chapter received the Sustained Excellence Award which represents the third year in a row that the chapter has reached Gold chapter standing , the highest honor for a PSE chapter . The Zeta Xi chapter was also a finalist for five additional awards including Lewis F . Gordon Top Gold Chapter , President ’ s Award for Interchapter Development , Top Alumni Advisor , Top For-Profit Sales / Marketing Project and Top New Member Development Program .
