This magazine was created in the most unique of years . Students were fully remote and did the entire process through Zoom , Schoology , Google Docs , and Canva . It was the product of months of work on the students ’ parts .

It started in February when we started to learn about the characteristics of feature articles by studying a wide variety of them . Students began brainstorming possible topics to write about and then chose one . Students then did extensive research and organized their research facts with an outline . Students used this to craft drafts .

EDITOR ’ S NOTE

Once drafts were completed , students revised and edited them . They used a checklist to help with this process . Finally , students created this project . Students applied what they learned about the characteristics of feature articles throughout the process which led to the creation of this impressive magazine . We hope you enjoy it . Happy reading !
