This celebration of the 250th birthday of Ludwig van
Beethoven features Russian-born conductor Anna Rakitina
leading the Orchestra in the most famous symphony of them
all, Beethoven’s Fifth, with its iconic “Fate knocking at the
door” theme. Pianist Jeremy Denk, MacArthur “Genius” Grant
winner and one of America’s most fascinating artists, returns to
play Beethoven’s popular Fourth Piano Concerto.
