OCT 31 DEC 5 FEB 27 GOLDILOCKS AND THE THREE DINOSAURS BEETHOVEN LIVES UPSTAIRS SUMMON THE HEROES Travel back in time to Vienna in the 1820’s as this theatrical symphony concert by Classical Kids LIVE! tells the story of Beethoven’s genius through the eyes of young Christoph. During the last years of Beethoven’s life, he lives in the upstairs apartment of Christoph’s home, and the young boy learns to appreciate the great composer’s struggles while creating some of the most beloved music of all time. Everybody loves a hero, and heroes come in all shapes and sizes and from all walks of life. From fictional superheroes like the Avengers to Olympic athletes, these heroes make an impact on history and on our future. Abraham Lincoln, Rosa Parks and Baltimore’s own Elijah Cummings will be portrayed through music and the BSO’s OrchKids will be featured on the program.  Once upon a time, there were three hungry Dinosaurs: Papa Dinosaur, Mama Dinosaur…and a Dinosaur who was visiting from Norway. This popular children’s book by Mo Willems comes to life onstage with actors, a narrator and the BSO with music composed by pop musician Ben Folds. Children can come dressed as their favorite storybook character and join in the pre- and post- concert Halloween festivities. 26 APR 10 LET'S DANCE!
