Back by popular demand, the Doo Wop
Project traces the evolution of Doo Wop,
from the classic sound of five guys singing
tight harmonies on a street corner to the
biggest hits on the radio today. You’ll
hear classic hits from the Belmonts to the
Temptations, all the way to DooWopified
versions of songs from modern musicians.

Four-time Grammy Award-winning singer
Aaron Neville and his quintet come
to the Meyerhoff Symphony Hall for a
Thanksgiving weekend of extraordinary
concerts. Known for his smooth style,
classic love songs and heartfelt ballads,
Neville has scored a string of hits including
“Tell It Like It Is,” and a hugely popular
cover of “Everybody Plays the Fool.”
The BSO is not performing on this
program.

Ella Fitzgerald and Frank Sinatra were
two undisputed masters of “The Great
American Songbook.” Capathia Jenkins
and Tony DeSare bring them back to the
stage for performances with the BSO that
include “Come Fly With Me,” “The Lady
is a Tramp” and other standard classics
representing these two legendary singers.
