Philipp: I am very excited about the dental field, because my work truly helps people. There are so many connections between oral health and the rest of the body. Dental infections have been linked to heart disease, stroke, diabetes, pre-term birth and even breast cancer. 202: What’s the most memorable moment you’ve had during your dentistry career? Philipp: This a hard question, because I have had the pleasure of helping so many patients improve their health, self esteem and physical appearance. There is no greater gift than providing services that improve lives. 202: What is one interesting fact about you that your patients don’t know? Philipp: If I am not in the office or playing with the kids, chances are you will find me digging around in my yard. I grow a variety of fruits, vegetables and herbs. I’m constantly checking out home and garden shows and the local nurseries to get new ideas to add to the landscape. 202: What do you love best about the Chandler/Gilbert area? Philipp: The great thing about working in the Chandler/Gilbert area is that I can see patients of all ages. Not only as a dentist, but also as a father of three, I believe it is very important to educate...I also take great joy in working with my older patients as they have a special need for quality dental care. I take immense pleasure in being in an area that allows me to treat the whole family! 202magazine.com / SEPTEMBER 2013 / 202 MAGAZINE 23
