/ 202 EDITOR’S WORDS / greetings and salutations ven though it’s been years since I had my last “First Day of School” the excitement and anticipation that hangs in the air around this time of year is contagious. There’s just something about stepping into the new, the unknown. Stocking up on school supplies, meeting the teachers, planning out your outfit the night before and not being sure exactly who you’ll meet or what you’ll encounter in the days ahead. There’s a bit of nervousness, mixed in with excitement which always makes the Back to School season so exciting. This issue, we’re action-packed with Back to School tips to help make this year’s adventure a breeze. From your very own tear-out checklist to get you ready for the season to kids fashion and what you really need to know about vaccinations, there’s plenty to get your kids off on the right foot. If you’re looking for a great way to inspire the young ones in the house and feel inspired yourself, you won’t want to miss our interview with Chandler’s Isabella Weems, a teen entrepreneur who turned her dream into a national business and success story to be admired. It’s a great lesson for all of us that it’s never too late, or too early, to go after what you want in life. And in the spirit of welcoming the new fall season, the time has come for me to move on and bring you someone new. It’s been a fun ride and it is with a heavy heart that I leave you, but I’m excited to pass the torch on to 202’s newest editor, beginning with the September issue. So stay tuned for even more exciting things to come! It’s been a pleasure and as always, thank you for your support. Enjoy the issue!
