Tomah's
Farmers
market
The Tomah Farmers Market has been
a staple in the Tomah community
for many years. It provides local
farmers and artists a beautiful,
lively place to sell their locally
grown and locally produced goods.
Tomah community members, and
visitors alike, head down to Gillett Park
(on the south end of Superior Ave) to
peruse local vendors’ booths every
Wednesday and Saturday from the
beginning of May to the end of October.
The market runs on Wednesdays from
noon-6pm and on Saturdays from
7am-1pm. It is not uncommon for
the market to sell out so be sure to
pick up your produce and crafts early!
At the Farmers Market you can find
almost any seasonal produce that
can be grown in Wisconsin! You
can also find many goods made by
local artists while venturing around
the market.
Every week vendors
are changing the products they
bring, so be sure to check back
often to see what’s new and exciting.
A few members from our Amish
community (south of town; see
page 11) also partake in selling
at the market.
They sell hand-
woven baskets, quilts, pies, canned
goods, produce, and much more.
Shopping at the Farmers Market
helps you connect with the Tomah
community. It also lets you try produce
and products you may not find at
your local grocery store. So, join us
at the Tomah Farmers Market. We
promise you won’t be disappointed!
