The Agency (NCTRCA) is a non-profit representing
several public entities and private company in the Dallas/
Fort Worth metropolitan area. Their purpose is to review
and determine certification eligibility for companies
identified as Disadvantaged, Minority, Woman or Small
Business Enterprise for the member agencies. For more
information about the certification application process,
visit their website homepage. DFW MSDC is one of 23 regional affiliates of the National
Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC)
that is committed to fostering a business environment
which promotes access and opportunity for minority-
owned companies. The Council is comprised of 97 Regional
Buying Entity Partners (private & public agencies) and 796
diverse certified minority-owned businesses. The Council
connects buying entities to certified MBE suppliers.

State agencies and public universities are looking to do
business with companies certified as Historically
Underutilized Business (HUB). The good-faith effort’s
goal involves actively including HUB firms in the Texas
procurement process and ensure fair and equitable
participation at the state level. To become HUB
certified and/or register as a vendor is a two-step
process. First, create User Profile online. Next, select the
“Apply for CMBL or HUB” on the eSystem Menu. Contact
the agency’s HUB Coordinator if you have any questions.

Women’s Business Council, Southwest is one of 14 Regional
Partner organizations affiliated with the Women’s Business
Enterprise National Council (WBENC). WBCS serves the
North Central Texas, Arkansas, Oklahoma & New Mexico.
Along with facilitating the National Council’s WBE
certification process, WBCS hosts a variety of networking,
education and procurement events to connect WBCS
