Selling to the government demands a completely different go-to-market approach than the commercial sector. The Dallas-Fort Worth-Arlington Metroplex alone has thirteen coun- ties and six public universities that will purchase from small businesses. In order to become a vendor, businesses will need to research and register before selling to local government entities including UT-Arlington, Tarrant County College, and the City of Arlington to name a few. Based at the University of Texas Arlington, we provide one-on-one counseling, events and up-to-date research in everything that has to do with selling to government agencies. AISD Purchasing Department is responsible for ensuring all District purchases are made in accordance with District, state and federal guidelines. Becoming a vendor with Arlington ISD is a two-step process. First, vendors are required to register online. (https://aisd.ionwave.net/Login. aspx). Second, vendors must respond to a bid.
