STUDY ABROAD PROGRAM
Being an international student can
be hard. It can be terrifying to be
in a new school, never mind a new
country, especially when you don’t
have a mom or dad here and you’re
figuring out everything by yourself.
But everyone at Texas State has been
so welcoming, and I feel at home here.
Some of my professors have become
my ‘moms’ and ‘dads.’ It’s great to have
that support system.
