There once lived a nineteen year old lad named Roy. Most people of his age have their lives already figured out. Some have relationships, others study at universities and live on their own. Roy, one the other hand, has been self – contained and liked to keep everything to himself, since he has never enjoyed attention and trusted people that easily because almost everyone has disappointed him in the past. From a young age, Roy was always in the middle of his parents’ problems and fights which led to their divorce. Unfortunately, it really affected him. Roy grew up an odd boy, who didn‘t have any friends and was often made fun of. As a matter of fact, he tried to make friends, but all his attempts failed. Later, the shortage of parents' love and the lack of communication prevented him from being opened to new people in his life.
Actually, Roy has been used to his loneliness and has spent most of his time in the comfort of his room accompanied by books and video game characters. Long and monotonous years of feeling anxious and sad made him think about himself as a guy doomed to failure.
