‘Tom, what‘s in the box ?‘

‘I got the box for my 18th birthday from the granddad. I can still remember him saying that this box will always help to unite the family. So, before leaving for Germany I decided to leave it in my grandparents‘ attic as it seemed the safest place for it at that time.‘

The silence fell into the room again. Tom and I were so joyful to get together again. We had so much to talk about.

‘Is there someone in the room who knows what‘s inside the box?‘ Julia asked impatiently.

‘I can show you. It‘s high time I revealed secret of the trinket to all of you.‘

Tom pulled out the chain with the key from his pocket. We all looked at him in surprise. Tom unlocked the box and slowly opened it. We were confused because the box was empty with only dust in it. Tom smiled when he saw us looking at him puzzled.

‘Do you remember how granddad used to tell us if it seems simple, it doesn‘t necessary mean so.‘

I agreed by nodding my head and walked closer to the box. Tom flipped over the trinket and shook it. To our surprise, the
