‘Sorry, I never bothered asking.’

At last, that day came, today I’m going to reunite with my brother after a decade of absence in each other’slife. With the pounds I had left I bought a nice suit and the barber was nice enough to give me a haircut.

‘Good luck, my friend!’

‘Thanks, barber. I owe a lot.’ I’ll admit, it was sad to leave the barber’s, but eventually that was going to happen.

I met up with my brother’s colleague at 5 o’clock. The drive took 2 hours. By the time we got to Hamburg, it was already dark. He dropped me off not far from the address. Once again, I was on my own.
