These men looked terrible: one of them was without an eye, another was severely injured and only one was healthy. They tried to catch my gaze. At that moment Amy lost consciousness. I started to revive her. Suddenly, one of them said:
"Don’t be afraid, we're also hiding from war and those "monsters''. We just thought you were one of them, that’s why we went near you. When we saw you, we understood that you couldn’t hurt anyone…”
I felt confused. I was standing looking at Amy. After a few minutes, she finally woke up. The armed men had already disappeared in the dark corner. I told her quietly about the conversation.
