You have four possible options:
1)
Create a new lesson for your classroom,
2)
Modify one of the lessons for your students,
3)
Select one of the lessons from our book for your class, or
4)
Create a school project/assembly that educates the school community about East Asia
(see information on pages 192-193 or the lesson on pages 272-276). Indicate the grade
level(s).
We are always looking for new lessons and welcome them for the next edition of Teaching East Asia: Korea. If you
wish to create a new lesson, please follow the format that is used in our resource book as much as possible. If
your lesson involves research on your part, please include a bibliography.
Review the Teaching East Asia: Korea resource book and Power Point lectures on the website for examples of
methodology and skill development. List examples of methodology and skill development throughout the book
before you develop your lesson plan.
Total Hours = 60 hours
