FROM OUR LEADERSHIP
Dear Interlachen Member,
Interlachen Country Club’s 108-year history has many chapters. Each chapter holds a
special place in the hearts of our Member Families. The proposed Facilities Improvement
Plan will lay the foundation for the next chapter and 100 more years of rich traditions and
family memories.
We firmly believe that every organization must evolve, but can only do so successfully if it
aligns with its history, traditions, culture, and operating environment. The decision to
recommend this plan for consideration by our Membership was unanimous by the Board of
Governors and was the culmination of a three-year process to gather input from our
Membership, study our operations, and learn from the marketplace.
This booklet presents an overview of the master planning process, and a detailed
description of the proposed improvements, financing strategy, and membership growth
initiatives. We recognize our Club’s long-term success relies on more than improvements to
our facilities. However, we believe these improvements combined with other
operational initiatives will allow us to achieve Interlachen 2019’s goals:
1. Improve the Member Experience and membership value
2. Maintain financial stability with favorable operating results; full membership and more
competitive dues structure
3. Attract and retain quality team members
Each of us that has had the honor of serving our Club in a leadership role feels a
tremendous sense of stewardship and responsibility for the Interlachen of tomorrow, just
as those before us did. Thank you for your participation in the process, which led us to the
recommended plan. Your involvement has been a key to our success and we are grateful for
your engagement.
