Dear ESDAA Teams and Fans,
Welcome to New York School for the Deaf, "Fanwood", home of the Tornadoes!
This ESDAA Soccer tournament brings a great deal of excitement to our schools and
our student-athletes. While our athletes experience worthy opponents and
competition on the field, they also make new friends, renew old friendships, and
create fond memories that remain with them over the years. Also, student-athletes
will have an opportunity to showcase their school spirit, teamwork, perseverance,
sportsmanship, and individual athletic abilities. Student-athletes: play your best and
have fun!
I would like to recognize our planning committee for their efforts in bringing this
tournament to you. An enormous thank you to the dedicated volunteers for their
diligent hard work and tireless hours of volunteering to ensure that everything is well
under way. I would also like to thank our sponsors for their generosity. Without the
dedication of all concerned, this soccer tournament would not be possible.
Good luck to everyone! Have a great time and I hope that you all leave White Plains,
New York with a positive experience and fond memories of tournament competition
that last a lifetime.
