Mabry James Anders Memorial Truck/Tractor Pull Thursday,
August 8 th , 7:00pm
New this year in the rodeo arena. The proceeds from this fundrais-
er will be allocated to the SPC. Mabry James Anders Memorial
Foundation. This scholarship program ensures the further education
of high school students from this region therefore improving the
quality of their lives by finishing college. Bring your pickup & let’s
see what it will do. Stock Gas & Diesel Truck Class and Mod Diesel
Class. Tickets available at the gate only. Gate opens at 6:00pm,

Family Game/Movie Night - Tuesday, August 6 th , 7:00pm
Come join us on the grass area for a Fun Family Game and Movie Night!
Popcorn, Pop, & Water will be provided. Bring the whole family to play a
fun interactive game (dress comfortably) for the whole family. Each fami-
ly will need to have a team of 4-6 people, a total of 4 teams per game. You
won’t want to miss it; great fun for the whole family. Then end the eve-
ning with a movie & popcorn. Bring blankets, sleeping bags, & pillows,
then kick back and enjoy.
Tommy Bennett – Live Music - Wednesday, August 7 th , 7:30pm
Come hear nationally touring country blues one-man band Tommy Bennett at
the Baker County Fair Grounds August 7th at 7:30pm. Tommy Bennett start-
ed on a small hay farm in West Georgia and has traveled nonstop for the last 6
years performing at bars, breweries, and music festivals all over the USA. He
performs on dobro with a slide, Lee Oskar Harmonicas, Suitcase and tambou-
rine foot precussions and vocals. He plays songs from a life on the road but he
also covers country classics from all eras. He has opened for Black Hawk, Ty
Herndon, Los Lobos, Mickey and the Motorcars, Lukas Nelson, Billy Strings,
The Steel Drivers and the list goes on and on.
Carl Wendt Memorial Bronce Riding - Wednesday, August 7th, 6:00pm
There is all kinds of fun to be had over at the fairgrounds with Kids
Activities, Mutton busting, Bronc Riding & Steer Riding. Enteries
will open Tuesday, July 23rd. Buckles awarded to winners in each

Baker City All Stars– Live Music
Friday, August9 th , 4:00pm – 6:30pm The Baker City All Stars is
our enterainment for Friday, August 9th from 4 to 6:30pm. Patrick
McWeeny plays the Guitar, Mandolin and is one of the lead vocal-
ist. He also leads the Thursday jam sessions at the Main Event here
in Baker City. Donnie Counts plays the Guitar and is also one of
the lead vocalist. Tara Richards plays the Bass Guitar while Fredrik
Anderson plays the Guitar & Keyboards. Craig Tweeny plays the
Drums. Most of the Baker City All Stars are also members of Johnny
and The Law Breakers and the Sage Brush Swingers. Some have also
played with The High Desert Renegades, Rueben Gonzalas, Bruno
Dunes and The Power Rhythem Band. Enjoy!
Demolition Derby - Saturday, August 10 th , 7:00pm (Gates open at
5:30)Come join the fun over at the rodeo grounds! There’s nothing
like that awesome sound of crunching & crashing of metal. Tick-
et will be available at the gate starting at 5:30pm, show starts at
7:00pm. Stay tuned for the Freestyle Halftime Show, always a sight
to see.
