ALAN REED
Manager Plant and Fleet
Toowoomba Regional Council
With over 20 years Fleet Management
experience, Alan currently manages the fleet
and the workshop/trade functions of the eight
Councils that amalgamated to form Toowoomba
Regional Council. He has also held positions
with a wide variety of organisations including
Cement Australia and Brisbane City Council. He
played a key role in the establishment of QFleet,
where he managed the transition from individual
departments managing their own fleets to the
centralised professional fleet management
organisation. Alan holds Australian Institute of
Company Directors Diploma.

In her role, Carolyn serves as a champion

achieve and exceed client goals. In her 26+
years at LeasePlan, Carolyn has served in
a wide variety of roles, allowing her to gain
knowledge in multiple key aspects of the
business. Prior to her current role, she was vice
president of strategic accounts, responsible
for the overall management of strategic clients
in all aspects of the business relationship.

Brett Rutledge is one of the most skilled and
versatile communicators in the Southern

communication effectiveness of the people and
organisations with whom he works. Chris has spent more than 25 years’ working
as a counsellor and educator in the fields of
drugs, youth and with offending behaviours.
For the past 13 years Chris has worked in road
safety, currently the Manager of Education
Services at Road Trauma Support Services Vic
(RTSSV) and is committed to cultural change.

Brett is part of the sales team at Airbag
Man, the air suspension specialists, and has
been involved in the sales and application of
airbags since 2000. With a background in
mechanical engineering and manufacturing,
he is widely experienced in all aspects in the
use and application of airbags into all manner
of vehicles, trailers, RV’s, industrial equipment
and agricultural machinery.
David has a wealth of experience collected
along his journey in the automotive industry
including multi-franchise ownership
and extensive Motorsport involvement -
culminating in driving a Formula One car
in Italy. Driven by a passion to improve
the awareness of legally-compliant weight
management on our roads, David has worked
in conjunction with colleagues to develop and
patent software designed to simulate load
placement and legal compliance.

With over 20 years’ experience in the
automotive industry in Senior Sales, Dealer
and Finance roles, and over 10 leading the
number one fleet brand in Australia, Deb
is recognized as an industry expert and is
currently consulting on building automotive
sales capability. She is a Non-Executive
Director for NRL Wheelchair Rugby League and
a member of the Women On Boards 2019 ASX
Mentoring Program and is passionate about
the development of women in the Industry.
DWAYNE DUNCUM

Following a successful career in the Western
Australian Police Force where he held the rank
of Sergeant and served for in excess of 20
years, Chris had the opportunity to develop a
keen understanding and appreciation for road
safety. For the last 10 years, Chris has trained
Advanced Defensive Driving in many countries
throughout the world, and consulted on land
transport safety issues, specifically in the
mining and resources sector. With over 18 years Health, Safety, Wellbeing
and Environmental experience in multiple
sectors. Dwayne has a career that extends
over 5 different countries. Dwayne is especially
passionate about road safety. Having worked in
high risk environments where road safety is not
considered a priority, Dwayne was able to bring
about the culture and leadership change needed
to place road safety as a key business risk.
