It’s impossible to look back on 2019 without the shadow of 2020.
In some ways, 2019 feels like an entirely different era. The lens of
COVID-19 will color our world for many years to come.
And yet, for Children’s Hospital Colorado, 2019, too, was a landmark
year. We pioneered new treatments, cemented new partnerships
and expanded the reach of our care into new communities — not to
mention opening a new state-of-the-art hospital. In fact, we cared
for more kids and families from a wider area than ever before.

It’s safe to say we’ll never forget 2020. But was we look back, let’s
not forget 2019, a year we realized visions that were years in the
making. Let’s not forget what happens when we dream big, put our
minds to it and dig in.
When we do that, it’s a wonder what we can achieve.
