● Limiting homework to research-based items that are meaningful and essential for review
● Continue the workshop model of professional development with coaching, consultation,
and a structured model of teacher and staff support
● Continue District focus on SEL and training for sites/staff
o Support students who have social/emotional needs, but who do not qualify for special
education
o Infuse SEL strategies in teaching and learning
o Implement wellness centers at all schools and the DEC
o Create a place for staff to decompress at all sites and DEC
● CTE Advisory Committee will meet to create goals for both high schools’ pathways
● Explore the opportunity to apply for a Middle School WorkAbility Grant, which would
provide us with the funds and resources to expose our younger students to college and
career opportunities
