Celebration of the Classics
The Celebration of the Classics is the first major event that Summit hosts for the club. Each year, students study a different work of Latin literature, learn about it in class, and then complete projects about that classical literature. 2019 was the Aeneid, students worked tirelessly to study the words of Virgil, and all their hard work culminated during the Celebration of the Classics. In 2020, students read the Illiad. Students get to display their projects, eat amazing food, play certamen, and spend time with their friends- all and more at this amazing event!
