But for the Jaguars Foundation, there’s no time like the present to keep our eye on the next 100 with a strong commitment to youth football programming. Jaguars PREP was established in 2019 with the goal of giving kids access to learning the fundamentals of football using the NFL’s top resources and support. Through youth football camps, tourna- ments such as the Nike 11-On, flag football and other programs under the Jaguars PREP umbrella, the Jaguars bring the game of football to thousands of fans in Jacksonville and London in an effort to keep kids active and healthy, while promoting proper technique, teamwork and sportsmanship for players of all ages and skill levels. In addition to regional Jaguars PREP programming, more than a dozen Jaguars players, including RB Leonard Fournette, hosted their own football camps in Jacksonville and around the country in their respective hometowns. The Jaguars 2019 rookie class even hosted a Special Olympics Fantasy Camp at the Dream Finders Homes Flex Field at Daily’s Place for 34 Special Olympians who signed one-day contracts to become professional football players. The First Coast YMCA boys flag football team from Dye Clay Family Branch represented the Jaguars at the NFL FLAG National Championships at the Pro Bowl. “We wanted them to have as much fun as they could,” Jaguars 2019 first round pick Josh Allen said following the camp. “That’s what we’re here for. We’re happy to help them get their mind off of whatever they’re going through. Everybody here is normal. We don’t see differences or color, everybody here is the same.” The Westside Wildcats Pop Warner team takes the field for a game inside the Dream Finders Homes Flex Field at Daily’s Place.
