I. Program Overview ArtLink Partner Response Form This Response Form is a teacher written summary of the ideas expressed by students after examining and analyzing the collection of art created for them. These forms, found on page 47 of the Handbook, are emailed to the partner class and to Creative Connections. The International ArtLink Portfolio We will send you this collection of photocopied art and ADS containing insightful ArtLink pieces we have received from a variety of our partner countries. These pieces will broaden your students’ experience. If you plan to mount a school display of your partner’s art and photographs of your own class art, you can add these additional pieces. Your display will provide viewers with insights into the cultures of children from around the world. Art Exhibitions International Children’s Art Exhibit The pieces selected for the show will be featured on our website: www.creativeconnections.org Selected pieces may also be taken to area classrooms, libraries, museums, etc. for exhibits, art workshops and used on social media. In-School Art Exhibit with Student-Led Tours Many of our partner classes around the world mount their own exhibits in their classrooms, school corridors, or community centers. Typically the exhibit is comprised of: • The original pieces created by their partners • Copies of their own pieces • Art from the ArtLink International Art Portfolio • Artist Description Sheets that accompany each art piece We encourage you to invite other classes, family members, and members of the community to view this exhibit, with your students giving guided tours while sharing their cultural discoveries and insights.
