Welcome to Sir John Deane’s Sixth Form College’s exciting
programme of concerts and performances for 2019/20.
Following the stellar success of last
year’s production of ‘Return to the
Forbidden Planet’, this year we are
celebrating the gifts of our talented
College musicians. The hugely popular
SJD Jazz Collective, under the musical
direction of Tim Murphy, are returning
to the Macdonald Portal Hotel in
Tarporley for an unforgettable Evening
of Jazz and Soul.
The Spirit of Christmas Concert and
the November Musical Soirée promise
to deliver the highest calibre of
performance, with gifted soloists and
chamber groups featuring alongside
our larger ensembles in a feast of
musical treats that can be enjoyed by
all.

of the Frodsham Music and Arts
Club’s concert series – a ‘must’ for
