to the Yukon Riverside Arts Festival! I
congratulate the Klondike Institute of Art and Culture on presenting this
diverse and exciting programming, and hope that you enjoy artistic and
inspiring time under the midnight sun throughout the festival.
This is a special year for KIAC, as the organization is celebrating its
20 th anniversary with 20 months of events and fundraising. I wish KIAC
many more successful decades to come.
Thank you to all the visitors and artists from around the world who
are joining Yukon’s homegrown artists and residents in this amazing
celebration of the arts.

Yukon Riverside Arts Festival, the Yukon’s premier arts event and a
wonderful addition to Dawson’s Discovery Day weekend for 18 years.
The arts are an important part of our community, and the Yukon
Riverside Arts Festival is the perfect celebration of our creative people
and their contributions.
On behalf of the citizens of this town and City of Dawson Council, I’d
like to salute the Klondike Institute of Art and Culture for assembling
a weekend of top-notch creativity and the many displaying artists for
sharing their talents. Thanks also to our out-of-town artists and guest
joining us from Outside. I trust you’ll find the very best of Klondike
