Installation viewing hours: Thursday, Aug 17th, 8:30pm-11:00pm (Gallery Hop) Friday, Aug 17, 10am-5pm Performance: Friday, Aug 17, 6pm CLOUD is documentation of a collaborative performance that considers instant gratification, digital communication, cloud storage, and vaping, in a mining town where Internet is more precious than gold (for locals). How can we understand the CLOUD if we can’t google it? Hi Fi technology requires wires and cables, and sometimes those cables get cut, cutting off access to instant answers and wireless storage units. In an analogue attempt to restore our connection to the CLOUD we produce our own clouds, communicating via Morse code text message. …. ._ …. ._ Sara Wray Enns: Crossing the Waters (George Black Ferry) (New Thoughts on Marching Bands 06) Ensemble Performances: Pop-up performances throughout Saturday Public Participation Performance: Sunday August 19, 7-8pm (gather at 6:30) Everyone welcome. Bring your instruments, your voices and yourselves. Musicians and non-musicians alike are welcome in to this collective noise making as the ferry crosses from Dawson to West Dawson.
