Fee: $ 10 Age: Adult Create an 8x10 watercolour painting along with Horst, who will provide step-by-step guidance along the way!
Tara Kolla-Hale: The Klondike Big Inch Land Co
Fee: none Age: 9 + Playing on the romance of the 1960s cereal giveaway ad success, Tara wants to help you make your own little piece of the Klondike! Using felts, fabrics, sequins, and found objects you can create your own‘ Klondike big inch!’
Joella Hogan: Soap Sculpture
Fee: $ 2 Age: 12 + Join Joella to make little moccasins out of soap dough. She will share her love for creating traditional beadwork and soapmaking.
Ilya Treleaven: Ink and Watercolour Illustration
Fee: $ 3 Age: 12 + Watch as Ilya demonstrates his full process of creating a piece from exploration and sketching all the way to the final inking and watercolor work. Try your hand at creating your own piece!
Bill Donaldson: Wooden Spoon Carving
Fee: none Age: Parental supervision required for 12 and under Carve your own wooden spoon from start to finish with Bill, who will give you guidance along the way!
Jeake Armstrong: Traditional Black Smith Iron Work
Demo only Watch Jeake demonstrate traditional iron work using a small hand crank coal forge. A collection of antique pieces gifted or gathered from the old dump, along with his own works and illustrations showing the step by step process of how something is will be on display.
