Volunteering at Green Lake
Each year a dynamic summer
ministry season is made possible
by almost 100 volunteers. Multiple
vital ministry areas are served by
faithful workers, including:
• Transportation drivers to pick
up and return guests to the
airport and train station
Housing is provided. The number
of rooms available is somewhat
limited. Sometimes we ask
volunteers to consider alternative
dates of service. Many volunteers
own trailers in our seasonal
campgrounds and receive 25%
off their annual camping fee when
serving full time.
• Troster Arts Studio assistants
for ceramics and stained
glass (we will train!)
• Children’s Center assistants
to care for children (age 9
months to pre-kindergarten)
• Country Store and Worldwide
Gifts staff with basic retail
experience
• Food Service: dining room
and Ollie’s Place
• Camp Ranger
• Maintenance: general, hotels
• Office Assistants
Volunteers have the opportunity
to attend some sessions at
various conferences for free. The
Conference for Church Musicians,
with free concerts each evening,
is a favorite! Other benefits
include discounts at Worldwide
Gifts, Country Store, Troster,
free or reduced rate recreation
opportunities, and the joy of
working in one of God’s most
beautiful places! Our volunteers
are a close-knit community who
care for and about one another.
