Examining and Responding to Partner’ s Art Students examine and analyze their partner class’ art.
Communicating Insights and follow-up questions are shared with partners through the following:
• Live Videoconference
• Video / Audio / Blog postings on www. culturexchangeonline. org
Art Exhibit
International Children’ s Art Exhibit takes place in Guatemala( Summer) and Connecticut( Fall / Winter).
• Complete art
• Fill out Artist Description Sheets( ADS)
• Art with ADS attached sent to Creative Connections with Packing List
• Classes examine their own artwork
• Art with ADSs attached sent to Creative Connections with Packing List
• Creative Connections reviews, translates and processes all art
• Jury selects art for International Children’ s Art Exhibit
• Receive partner class’ art and international art portfolio
• Videoconferences are scheduled
• Register and share with partner teachers at www. culturexchangeonline. org
• Videoconferences are facilitated
• Complete Post-Exchange Survey online
• Recommended: Classes share exchanged art and insights with schoolmates and community
• Visit the International Children’ s Art Exhibit in Guatemala, or in Connecticut. Art is also exhibited on our website at www. creativeconnections. org
• Complete Program Evaluation( online)
