Conferring Judging System:
The 2018 US National Show will use a “Two Judge Conferring System”.
• Judges will follow NAPHA judging criteria to arrive at their decisions.
• There will be one alternating call judge for the purpose of running the class.
• As horses enter the arena and for the majority of the competition, Judges are to remain separated and evaluate
horses independently.
• Judges will confer prior to selecting a preliminary lineup.
• Judges will look at and confirm their placings in the preliminary lineup together.
• Judges will confer to ask for any individual workouts and/or runoffs.
• Judges must agree in the final placings prior to turning in their results.
