Washington Township is the
First Fire Department in Central
Ohio to Earn ISO-1 Rating and
Accreditation
Washington Township stands alone in
Central Ohio as the only fire department
that is both ISO-1 rated and accredited
by the Commission on Fire Accreditation
International. An ISO-1 rating
demonstrates exceptional performance
in four areas that are critical to structure
fire suppression: water flow, emergency
communications, fire department
operations and water supply. Only 57 of
the nation’s 30,000+ fire departments
have earned both an ISO-1 ranking and
accreditation.
