Understanding the Nomination Process
To run for the Board of Directors in Lake Linganore, you must
be a member (specifi cally a “property owner” of a lot or home).
Interested members must complete a Candidate Profi le Form,
available on the LLA website homepage: www.lakelinganore.
org.
All Members interested in running for the Board of Directors
must submit a Candidate Profi le Form by 5:00pm, Friday,
March 2, 2018.
Holiday Gift Giving
For the second year in a row, Coldstream Village
teamed up with Social Services to provide a Merry
Christmas to needy families and adults in Frederick
County. This year generous neighbors provided gifts
for nine children, six adults, and six large families.
Neighbors gathered to wrap the gifts, and they were
all delivered to the Social Social Service office the
first week of December. A big thank you goes out to
all who contributed to their time and efforts to make
this a successful neighborhood event.
Eligibility Requirements
Per the LLA governing documents, prospective Candidates
must satisfy the following requirements to be eligible for
nomination:
1. A candidate must be a member (property owner) of the
Association in good standing. All assessments, fees, fi nes,
and all other monetary obligations to the Association
must be current. To verify your fi nancial status, please

2. Candidates may not have any outstanding covenant
violations. To verify you do not have any violations, please
contact Denese Depeza, Village Manager, at 301-831-6400
x116, or email her at vm1@lakelinganore.org.
3. Candidates must submit a Letter of Disclosure, stating
whether or not they have any current business connections
to the LLA, the Eaglehead Declarant, or the LLA Property
Developer.
Candidate Profi le Form Questions
All candidates who wish to submit their names for nomination
must provide information requested in the Candidate Profi le
Form, in accordance with the LLA Bylaws, Article III, Section
3, Election of Directors and Terms of Offi ce. “Required”
information will be indicated on the form. Candidates are
encouraged to answer all optional questions included in the
Candidate Profi le Form, since this information will help inform
the Membership of your leadership qualifi cations.
