Komatsu Forest has a wide range
of forwarders, from the smallest,
which is optimal for thinning, to
the powerful forwarders for final
felling.
The Komatsu 835, the smallest
model, is ideal for thinning with
its manoeuvrability and power. It
has low weight and a high ground
clearance that contributes to
reduce the environmental impact.
The 845 works well for thinning
but also for lighter final felling.
The machine is agile and has good
operator comfort. The 855 is an
all-round forwarder for thinning
and final felling. It is powerful,
compact, and delivers long-term
productivity at all times.
The second largest forwarder
is Komatsu 875, an all-round
forwarder that is powerful for final
felling, yet functional for thinning.
The 895 is the largest forwarder,
has a load capacity of 20 t and is
now even more powerful than the
previous model.
Stability is an important feature
for Komatsu forwarders. Units
need to have good manoeuvrability
even in difficult terrain, which
leads to higher productivity for the
forwarder at the end of the day.
All Komatsu forwarders are built
on the same design foundation,
meaning that the supported
surface of the rear frame is always
