bunching heads for tree-
length harvesting by track and

attachments, designed and built
for applications ranging from
plantation thinning to select
harvesting of large diameter

Caterpillar recently introduced
the new D Series Wheel Feller
Buncher. It can be equipped
with any of three Cat saw heads,
the HFW221, HFW222 SC, or the
newest model, the HFW232 High
Capacity Bunching Saw. These saw
heads allow maximum visibility of
the cutting area and utilize high
pressure hydraulics for fast saw
recovery and quick arm speed –
boosting production and improving
tree control.
