Quality and efficiency has always characterized
the “Wood-Terminator” chipper. However, they
are constantly working on even better technical
solutions for hackers. They are one step further
with the new, hydraulically driven blower.
O
ne thing is clear to them:
they can only impress real
professionals with perfect
technology. A hydraulic blower was
attached to this WT 10 XL so that
the speed can be adjusted infinitely
(slowly for trunk wood and faster
for shrubs and wood process
waste). This ensures the quality of
the wood chips is retained. As this
machine has an “XL” in the type
designation, is for a good reason:
a larger roller diameter, a more
aggressive, powerful feed (98 x
75 cm),split screens, which are
foolproof to exchange a stronger
feed belt, a life of up to 5000 hours
and a new multi-function rotor (the
use of broader blades or choppers
is possible). The feed belt of the
tractor chopper WT 10 XL is 2.7 m
long. Therefore, 4m logs remain
on the belt while being loaded
on the crane, and do not fall from
the feed table to the ground. The
machine is controlled using the
operating box with an easy color
display. The remote control has a
faster, load-dependent belt control.
The faster switching function
means cleaner, separated and
rather more angular wood chips.
Since the hacker control works
fully automatically, the crane
driver can fully concentrate on the
feeding process, this will mean
higher throughput of wood chips
is achieved (up to 200 Srm/h Our
customer Schanner works with a
Claas Xerion tractor with 530 HP.
Additionally,a wood splitter was
attached to a hacker. With this
professional chipper equipment, no
pieces remain on the chipping site.
