HNHS Talent Show
The annual talent show was a wonderfully entertaining
evening filled with music, drama, song and dance items.
Our three guest judges, Matt Kidd, Guy Leithbridge and
Kathy Aitken were impressed by the high standard of
performances from our students. The top prize of $250
went to the dynamic duo of Year 13 students Philip Kim
and Jude Snee, with their rendition of Harry Styles ‘Sign of
the Times’. Runner-up went to the very talented vibraphone
trio of Drew Olsen, Emily Selfe and Nina Blair. They
performed ‘Gerudo Valley’ from the game The Legend of
Zelda with Cameron Brizzle as back up on the drums. They
won a share of $150 for their outstanding piece. The Most-
Talented Junior prize of $100 was deservedly won by Poppy
Kelly, a Year 10 student, whose heartfelt interpretation of
‘I Dreamed a Dream’ from the musical Les Miserables was
breathtaking. The adjudicators’ award for Most Entertaining
went to Oliver Taylor for his fabulous performance of
‘Fergalicious’. Well done to everyone who took part.
