Dresses ready to be sent to Cambodia and Laos
Dress a Girl around the World
The Level One technology fabric class worked with the Hope 4
Women International Campaign and designed and made dresses
for little girls in third world countries. The project titled ‘Dress a
Girl around the World’ aimed to bring dignity to young women
around the world. The class completed the dresses using entirely
donated fabric from our school community. Miss Pearson also
ran a night class over the winter months and many community
members and HNHS staff joined the students and made dresses.
The final tally of dresses was 72. All garments are going to girls
in Cambodia and Laos in 2019.
