DAY I 1 I ARRIVE WINNIPEG
On arrival, check into an airport hotel.
Late evening, meet your guide and group
for a brief orientation.
DAY I 2 I WINNIPEG TO CHURCHILL
Early morning flight to Churchill.
Highlights of the day: visit Churchill
Town and Area Tour, Cape Merry, Port
of Churchill, Miss Piggy and Manitoba
Conservation’s Polar Bear Holding
Facility and Churchill Eskimo Museum.
Evening, enjoy cultural presentation by
a local.
DAY I 3 I CHURCHILL
Full-day Tundra Buggy excursion in the
Churchill Wildlife Management. Look
for polar bears and other artic wildlife
and the interpretive guide will point out
the interesting facts about the area’s
geology and history. Evening return back
to Churchill town.
DAY I 4 I CHURCHILL
Full-day Tundra Buggy excursion in
the Churchill Wildlife Management.
Another great day on the Tundra, full of
extraordinary wildlife and many chances
to get great photos. Evening return back
to Churchill town.
DAY I 5 I CHURCHILL TO WINNIPEG
Morning proceed on a Dog Sledding
program led by a local dog musher,
explaining basics and importance before
taking a mile long ride through the
boreal forest. Head over to the Parks
Canada Interpretive Centre, which
has in depth displays revealing the
remarkable history of Churchill. Evening,
transfer to the Churchill airport for a
flight to Winnipeg.
