Here, we’re all stars.
This year, teams at Children’s Colorado developed new forms of imaging that will one
day replace invasive and risky diagnostic procedures. We leveraged fetal physiology to
heal wounds in adults. We regenerated tissue and re-engineered cells, all in the name of
healing kids. We did not do it alone.

Our work connects us. In fact, the connections it creates are everywhere: between
unborn babies and adults, between the diodes of a circuit board, between colleagues in
a hallway, between flesh and code. These connections have the power to form lifelong
bonds. They set and alter our course.
And when we draw those lines of connection, our mission comes into focus. A scatter of
points becomes a picture, and that picture becomes a guide — a new constellation that
shows us what was there all along: the power to transform lives.
