Parents magazine recognized us one of the 20 “Most
Innovative Children’s Hospitals” in 2018, an honor
that identified hospitals with a proven track record of
innovation that has led to medical advances along with
a hospital’s adoption of the latest technologies and
its efforts to share its innovations with other pediatric
hospitals so more kids can benefit.

best pediatric hospitals in the nation. In 2018, we ranked
among U.S. News & World Report’s top 10, with rankings
in all 10 recognized specialty areas, including five in the
top 10.

In 2018, 5280 magazine named 94 Children’s Colorado providers to its
annual “Top Docs” list — sweeping 12 categories and capturing fully
27% of its named providers.
We’ve been Magnet-recognized by the American Nurses Credentialing
Center for the third time, a designation only 3% of hospital achieve.
Children’s Colorado won the Nicolas E. Davies Award of Excellence
recognizing our use of technology to improve clinical care delivery and
patient outcomes.
Hospital and Health Networks magazine named Children’s Colorado
as a “most Wired” hospital for the sixth year in a row, recognizing that
Children’s Colorado is among hospitals and health systems at the
forefront of technology use that improves delivery of care.
Children’s Colorado was named the winner of the 2018 Governor’s
Award for Worksite Wellness recognizing our efforts to build a culture of
health and safety in the workplace.
