Workforce Solutions of the Coastal Bend along with Education to Employment Partners hosted the 2nd Annual
YOU Choose! Career Expo and the Ready for College and Career Conference in partnership with the Texas
Workforce Commission as part of the Careers in Texas Industries Week.
Special featured guest, Ruth R. Hughs, Chair and Commissioner Representing Employers for the Texas
Workforce Commission, launched both events with a ribbon-cutting ceremony that was well attended by
Workforce Solutions of the Coastal Bend Board of Directors, community stakeholders, educational training
institutions, employers and students.
