2018 EARLY CHILDHOOD DEVELOPMENT QUALITY SERVICES PROGRAM
The Early Childhood Development Quality Services Program (ECDQSP) celebrated its 5th Anniversary of
providing quality resources to children attending and professional development training activities to child
care staff working in those child care centers with Workforce Provider Agreements during 2018! The
theme for this milestone event was “The Power of One – The BEST You!” Over the past five years, the
ECDQSP has provided the following resources and professional development training activities:

Texas Rising Star (TRS) Certified Child
Care Centers received SMART
Board packages which allowed them
to implement technology in their
Pre-Kindergarten classrooms since
2014.

Child Development Associate (CDA)
Credential professional development
training class began on September 25, 2018.

Child Care Centers received a resource package (which
included a computer,printer, teacher workstation, and
early childhood education books) which staff could use
to research early childhood education activities and
create lesson plans since 2015.

Child Care staff have received their CDA
credential through the ECDQSP’s CDA
Credential program since December 2014.
Provided ongoing, continuous professional
development training on the integration of
the Frogstreet Curriculum at the TRS
Certified Child Care Centers since 2017.
