The incorporation of the 5-2-1-0 content and tool within our graduate nurse practitioner
program will allow an exclusive opportunity for the nurse practitioner students to expand
their knowledge on the important topics of childhood wellness, nutrition and obesity.
Additionally, the implementation of the 5-2-1-0 tool within the student’s clinical practicum
will strengthen the focus on disease prevention and health promotion in the clinical
setting, allowing for a greater impact on pediatric patient health outcomes. We are very
excited to be partnering with Polk Vision on this innovative project.”
