4 GENERAL INFORMATION OMA’s Mission Statement The Office of Multicultural Affairs ( OMA ) supports the co-curricular experiences of students of color and their intersecting identities. OMA is dedicated to creating an inclusive campus community through student engagement, diversity, education, advocacy, and leadership development for all Johns Hopkins University students. Core Values 1. Diversity, equity, and inclusion: core principles that support and guide the student experience and focus on developing their skills, attitudes, and knowledge via identity development. 2. Community: Supporting marginalized/underrepresented students, retention and affinity initiatives, promoting respect, well-being, and being valued. 3.
