At this awesome overnight adventure ; you will have the chance to set up camp under the stars , and enjoy a nighttime excursion through the treetops ! Challenge yourself to zipline and climb through each obstacle and then have the Girl Scout-only experience of camping inside the park and an extreme nighttime party ! Juniors will work towards the Camper Badge and Cadettes will earn the Night Owl Badge . Girl Scouts should provide their own camping equipment , including tents and sleeping bags . Attending as a troop ? Please follow the ratios found in the Safety Activity Checkpoints . At least one adult per troop must be Troop Camp trained . Not attending as a troop ? Individual girls are welcome and must be accompanied by their own adult who is Troop Camp trained . ( Badge not included .) Minimum : 20 | Maximum : 60

This program is for Girl Scouts in grades 11-12 and / or adults , and is a hands on-training that teaches backpacking-hiking and carrying all of your gear to a backcountry camping site . Topics will include Leave No Trace camping principles , how to cook on a backpacking stove , water purification techniques , food safety and storage , sanitation basics , and selection of a three-point campsite . You ’ ll harness your inner power by carrying a 25-35 pound pack on a two-mile hike ! The fee covers classroom sessions , manual , site rental , and food for the overnight . Ambassador Girl Scouts may participate in this program when accompanied by an adult ( parent / guardian or Troop Camp Trained leader ). Adult may enroll without a girl member ! Girls will have fun getting to know each other as they go on a Journey to protect the earth and learn about bees , seeds , and butterflies . We will explore our feelings and what makes us special . Singing songs , playing games , making crafts , and an added bit of science will earn the girls the Daisy Between Earth and Sky Journey . The Journey activities and materials are all included in the per girl price . ( Journey Award is not included .) Minimum : 10 | Maximum : 24
