consultations with stakeholders and the general public will
guide public policy so as to ensure that we as a country take
full advantage of the promises of our Blue Economy in a
way that is sustainable and maximizes the shared welfare of
all Bahamian citizens.
Mr. Speaker,
As
I
have
just
explained,
we
began
implementing our comprehensive and proactive economic
action plan from the very first day that we took office last
year and we will proceed with its further implementation in
the coming Budget year. Ministers will elaborate on the
specific plans in their respective areas of responsibility
during the upcoming Budget debate.
I will, however, stress yet again that our plans
and actions will be guided by the overriding need for
